Query everything
I should be able to search my entire computer and all data connected to me from one search box
If I bought a pair of pajamas X years ago that should also be indexed.
In my ideas document I call this nested search.
A single query should caused N queries in other software and networks in parallel as any one of them could match something.
Sometimes a simple search results page isn't good enough. Imagine if we could group results by type into GUI widgets. Take this query for example -
Email folders AS list ON left; Emails in Emails folders.selected AS table ON middle top; Emails.selected AS Email.HTML ON middle bottom
This query would render a mail client.
